Heavy Rain, Coastal Flooding On Tap For Tonight And Saturday
The soggy weather will continue into next week, National Weather Service says

OCEAN COUNTY, NJ - The good news is there's no forest fire threat today. The bad news is you probably won't see much of the sun until Wednesday.
The National Weather Service is calling for an additional two to four inches of rain from Friday night through Sunday morning, with locally higher amounts possible.
The rain could be heavy at times on Friday night, with east winds of 14 to 17 miles per hour and a low of degrees. Minor coastal flooding is also likely with Friday night's high tide along the Jersey coast. The chance of precipitation is 80 percent.

There's a chance of showers on Friday during the day, with cloudy skies and a high near 61 degrees. Winds will be from the east at 9 to 17 miles per hour, with gusts as high as 34 miles per hour.
