History Channel's 'American Pickers' Coming To NJ
Filming for the popular series will start in New Jersey in August.

Start going through your sheds, garages and houses: the popular History Channel show "American Pickers" is coming to New Jersey.
So see if you have anything you think Mike Wolfe and Frank Fritz might want to get their hands on. The popular pickers will film episodes of their show in New Jersey this summer. Filming is scheduled for early August, according to a History Channel press release.
But be forewarned. They are not looking for your garage sale cast-offs. And make sure you're an interesting character to interview.

If you've ever watched the show, the two are looking for vintage bicycles, toys, unusual radios, movie memorabilia, advertising, military items, folk art, vintage musical equipment, vintage automotive items, early firefighting equipment, vintage clothing, pre-50’s western gear.
And if you've got a garage full of antique cars and motorcycles, you might have to beat Mike and Frank off with a stick. They are particularly fond of old Indian and Harley Davidson motorcycles, vintage auto-related signs and items, which they call petroliana.

"Mike and Frank are on a mission to recycle America, restore forgotten relics to their former glory, and learn a thing or two about American history along the way," the release states.
American Pickers is produced by Cineflix Productions for History. New episodes air Wednesdays at 9 p.m. eastern time on History Channel.
