Island Beach State Park Named Best State Park In United States

ISLAND BEACH STATE PARK, NJ - Island Beach State Park has been named the best state park in the United States, according to to HomeToGo.com.

That's something most of us in Ocean County already knew. But HomeToGo.com made it official when in ranked Island Beach as number one in its 2018 State Park Index.

The index ranked 18 of the nation's most popular state parks based on average rating, affordability, activities to offer, bird species, and nearby accommodations.

Island Beach scored an impressive 42.62 out of 50 in this year's ranking, even beating out Niagara Falls in New York.
