Medical Emergency May Have Led To Head-On Crash In Berkeley, Police Chief Says
One man was flown to Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune for treatment.

Berkeley police are looking for anyone who may have witnessed a head-on crash early Monday morning on Pinewald-Keswick Road, Police Chief Karin T. DiMichele said.
Police responded to the accident at 7 a.m. on June 26. The initial investigation determined that the driver of the first vehicle, a 2008 Dodge Calibre, crossed over the center line and struck the second vehicle, a 2014 Dodge Ram.
"It is believed that that the driver of the first vehicle may have suffered a medical emergency which contributed to the crash," the chief said.
