Moderate Risk Of Rip Currents This Memorial Day
Cloudy skies, chilly ocean temperatures are forecast for today, National Weather Service says

OCEAN COUNTY, NJ - Beach conditions in Ocean County are a little better today, but not by much.
There's still a moderate risk of rip currents, which means if you're planning swimming, check with your local beach patrol first, always swim within sight of a lifeguard, and swim never alone or at night, the National Weather Service says.
Skies will be cloudy with a chance of showers. Highs will be in the mid 60s. There is no lightning threat today. The ocean water temperature will be around 61 degrees, colder than the air. The ultraviolet index is a 6, which the NWS considers high.
