Moderate Risk Of Rip Currents Today, Sun Makes Brief Appearance
A rainy weekend is on the way, National Weather Service says

OCEAN COUNTY, NJ - There's a low risk of rip currents today on Ocean County beaches and you may actually see the sun later this afternoon, according to the National Weather Service.
But rip currents are always possible, especially near jetties and other structures. So don't swim on an unguarded beach and never swim alone or at night. The NWS suggest you always bring a floatation device when you go in the water.
Skies will be cloudy and fog will be dense until around 1 p.m., when the sun makes a brief appearance. There's a slight chance of thunderstorms, with a moderate threat of lightning. Highs today will be in the lower 70s.
