Moonlight Hike Coming Up At Island Beach State Park
The hike will be held on Aug. 11, the fee is $10.

Here's your chance to see Island Beach State Park under a full moon.
The park is holding a moonlight hike through the maritime forest, over the dunes and down to the beach from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Aug. 11. The fee for the hike is $10.
You can learn about the park's centuries-old history, ecology and a little astronomy, courtesy of the ASTRA astronomy club, while enjoying a bonfire and s'mores.

- All ages welcome, however a registered adult must accompany minors.
- Bring a flashlight, blanket or chair, drinking water, and bug spray.
- Park admission fees apply and are payable on the day of the program as you enter the park at the main gate.
- Participants should arrive at the A13 Parking Lot 15 minutes before the start of the program.
- The program will run rain or shine. Please prepare for the weather. If the park cancels the program, you will be notified and you will receive a full refund. If the registered participant cancels for any reason, the fee is not refundable.
