The township Parks Department responded to over 50 downed trees in roadways during the storm. JCP&L is responding to many power outages, the mayor said.

"The heavy snow and winds caused trees and limbs to fall on power lines," Amato said. "This has caused power outages and delays in plowing operations as power lines across roadways are unsafe."
