Ocean County Prosecutor's Office Offers Self-Defense Courses

Two sessions will be held in May, open to all ages 13 and up, male or female.

TOMS RIVER, NJ -Tired of getting pushed around? Worried about surviving in today's perilous world?

Learn how to defend yourself. Come to the Ocean County Prosecutor's Office's Victim Witness Unit's free self- defense course in May, where you will be taught basic self-defense techniques.

Pro fighter and former WKA champion Prairie Rulio and the staff of Toms River-based Girl Fight will be on hand to teach you how to take care of yourself.

There are two sessions - one on May 12 from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. and another on May 19 from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. The sessions will be held at 1800 Lakewood Road, Unit 4.
