Only One Central Regional Drinking Water Source Tests Above EPA Limits For Lead
Source was a faucet in the Middle School teachers' room, superintendent says

BAYVILLE, NJ - Central Regional Superintendent Triantafillos Parlapanides got some good news recently about the results of lead testing of water sources in the district.
Of the 53 samples taken in the High School and Middle School, only one was above federal standards for lead, according to a letter posted on the district's website.
The affected source was in the Middle School teachers' room, with a level of 19.9 parts per billion. The allowable limits for any drinking water source is 15 parts per billion.

The teachers' room has now been equipped with bottled water and a sign posted that reads "DO NOT DRINK-SAFE FOR HAND WASHING ONLY."
