A Pretty Decent Day Ahead For Ocean County Beaches
Mostly sunny skies, low risk of rip currents, National Weather Service says

OCEAN COUNTY, NJ - The National Weather Service is calling for sunny skies and fairly calm seas at Ocean County beaches.
Highs today will only be in the mid 70s. Winds will be from the east at 10 miles per hour. There is no lightning threat.
There's a low risk of rip currents. But rips are always possible, especially near jetties and other structures. Make sure you swim on a guarded beach. Never swim on an unguarded beach and never swim alone or at night. Don't be a statistic this summer. The NWS suggests you always have a flotation device with you in the water.
Waves today will be around 3 feet, with southeasterly swells of 2 feet. The ocean water temperature is 69 degrees.
