Crash Knocks Out Power For 1.5K Berkeley Homes
A crash in Bayville knocked out power for homes near Hickory Lane and Sloop Creek, according to the Ocean County Sheriff's Office.
BERKELEY, NJ — A crash Sunday night has knocked out power to about 1,500 homes in Bayville, authorities said.
The Ocean County Sheriff's Office said in an alert that the outage was caused by a motor vehicle accident. Homes near Route 9 between Hickory Lane and Sloop Creek were impacted by the outage.
Jersey Central Power & Light's outage website said as many as 1,500 homes in Berkeley were without power this morning.

According to their website, crews are on site and estimate that power will be restored by 11 a.m. Monday.
