Brick Reschedules Rabies Vaccine Clinic

Frigid temperatures are anticipated for Saturday, when the clinic had been set to be held.

BRICK, NJ — Brick Township officials have postponed Saturday's rabies vaccination clinic due to the frigid temperatures expected Saturday.

The township on Friday morning announced the clinic is being postponed to Saturday, Jan. 27, at the Drum Point Sports Complex, 41 Drum Point Road in Brick.

"You can come at your previously scheduled time and it is not necessary for you to arrive much earlier than your time," the announcement said.

To move the vaccinations along smoothly, the appointments were scheduled every 15 minutes.

"Please understand that this is a time window and we will be working to move the line swiftly," the announcement said. "We are asking that you cooperate by having your pet on a short leash and accompanied by an adult."
