Burger 25 Opens Next To Icarus Brewing In Brick

BRICK, NJ — When the owners of Icarus Brewing envisioned their new location in Brick, part of their plan was to have restaurants nearby offering food to go with their brews.

That vision has come to fruition with the opening of Burger 25 on Thursday. It is part of the property at 2045 Route 88 in Brick.

The location next to Icarus is Burger 25's third location, and the owners, Steve and Denise Vetter, announced their plans to join Icarus in December, when they agreed to rent 4,000 square feet of space from Icarus to bring their popular burgers, fries and shakes to Brick. It has 99 seats, and patrons will be able to bring beer from Icarus to the restaurant or carry their food to the brewery.

Burger 25 first launched in 2013, has more than 20 combinations of burgers, including a bison burger and one that offers lettuce in place of the standard bun. There are chicken sandwiches, onion rings, loaded fries and monthly shake offerings in addition to regular chocolate, vanilla and strawberry. They even have a dog menu, perfect for people who bring their canine companions to enjoy an evening outdoors at the brewery.

Also in the works is Mahana Fresh, which had its signs in the space next to Burger 25 when the brewery opened July 20.

Mahana Fresh, which offers vegetarian and vegan meals, has not announced an opening date. The Brick location will be its second one in New Jersey.

Icarus announced Mahana Fresh would be filling the second spot in May.
