Cocaine, Meth, Heroin, $333K Seized From Brick Man's Home: Prosecutor

The man also had more than 5 pounds of marijuana and THC products, illegally, the prosecutor's office said.

BRICK, NJ — A Brick Township man is facing multiple charges after authorities seized cocaine, heroin, methamphetamine, and more than 5 pounds of marijuana from his home, the Ocean County Prosecutor's Office said Thursday.

Brandon O’Shea, 40, was arrested May 9 after authorities searched his home and seized about 100 grams of cocaine, 80 grams of methamphetamine, 8 grams of heroin, more than 5 pounds of marijuana and THC products, and $333,000 in cash, Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer said.

The search came after a two-month investigation into narcotics distribution in Ocean County, Billhimer said.

Detectives determined O'Shea was using his home to store the various narcotics, and on May 9, investigators doing surveillance followed O'Shea as he left his home and pulled him over, Billhimer said. O'Shea was arrested without incident.

O’Shea was charged with possession of one-half ounce or more of cocaine with intent to distribute, possession of one-half ounce or more of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, possession of 5 pounds or more of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of less than one-half ounce of heroin with intent to distribute, possession of cocaine, possession of methamphetamine, possession of heroin, possession of cocaine with intent to distribute within 1,000 feet of a school, possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute within 1,000 feet of a school, possession of heroin with intent to distribute within 1,000 feet of a school, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute within 1,000 feet of a school, possession of drug paraphernalia, and financial facilitation, Billhimer said.

O'Shea was taken to the Ocean County Jail and later released as a consequence of New Jersey Bail Reform, the prosecutor's office said.

The Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office Narcotics Strike Force and Asset Forfeiture Unit; Brick Township Police Department Street Crimes Unit, Patrol Division, and Special Emergency Response Team, and Point Pleasant Police Department Detective Bureau combined on the investigation.
