BRICK, NJ — Corrado’s Market is indeed coming to Brick in February or March 2022, despite numerous delays opening its first Ocean County location.

James Corrado, the owner of the family-owned Italian grocery chain, told Asbury Park Press Tuesday. The store, which has been in the Corrado family for three generations, originally announced in 2019 that they would open their first Ocean County location in Brick in October 2020, according to Asbury Park Press. But the pandemic struck shortly after the announcement, and supply chain issues and complicated new regulations stalled the process.

Corrado told the Press that the Brick store has a lease in place, and they are committed to opening in 2022. The new store will feature a full meat department, prepared foods, catering, specialty Italian grocery items, and traditional grocery items, according to Asbury Park Press.
