The woman had sexual relationships with students in 2017 and 2024. She resigned her Wall High School teaching job during the investigation.

WALL, NJ — A Brick Township woman has pleaded guilty to engaging in separate sexual acts with two students when she was a teacher at Wall Township High School, the Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office said.

Julie Rizzitello, 37, pleaded guilty last week to two counts of second-degree sexual assault before Monmouth County Superior Court Judge Jill O’Malley, Prosecutor Raymond Santiago said.

Investigators found Rizzitello, who had been an English teacher, had sex with two victims over the course of several years. In July 2024 she was arrested on charges of sexually assaulting a student in April and May 2024. A few weeks later, she was charged with having a sexual relationship in 2017 with a second student.

The 2024 student told investigators he had oral and sexual intercourse with Rizzitello in Brick in his vehicle, and on several other occasions between April and June 14, 2024, in Wall and Belmar as well as Brick. He also told investigators Rizzitello sent him nude photographs of herself following the first time they had sexual intercourse.

Rizzitello, who resigned her teaching position in 2024, is accused of telling that student to delete text message conversations between them and nude photos she sent, according to the probable cause affidavit on those charges.
