Hankins Benefit, Forsythe Cleanup in Brick This Weekend
Two events for good causes in Brick

An event to honor former Brick Township High School art teacher Vern Hankins will take place on Sunday.
The First Inaugural VERN-STOCK will be held from 3 to 10 p.m. Sunday, March 3rd at the Bricktown Elks, 2491 Hooper Ave. The price of general admission is $10, which includes a cash bar, entertainment, food, bands and more.
The money raised will go towards a scholarship fund in Hankins' name.

Also on Sunday, Brick residents will help clean up a part of their community, and more volunteers are welcome.
The Eco Warriors of Brick, a department of the Visitation Relief Center is organizing the first clean up of many for the wetlands of Brick.On Sunday, the group will be at the trail entrance 9 a.m. There will be parking at the Ocean First Bank and VFW on Adamston Road.
