POINT PLEASANT, NJ — For the second time this week, Point Pleasant and Point Pleasant Beach residents are dealing with snowfall. This time, however, it actually left a decent coating in the two towns.

So how much did the town get? The National Weather Service did not have reports from either town, however coastal parts of Ocean County received about 4 inches even as far south as Beach Haven.

The snow, which started falling between midnight and 1 a.m., prompted both the Point Pleasant and Point Pleasant Beach school districts to call for snow days. The forecast had been for 3 to 6 inches of snow in Ocean County, and on Friday, that held up.
