Oops! Portnoy Pizza Review Goes Awry As He Drops Part Of Pie In Brick
Dave Portnoy, the self-proclaimed pizza expert, stopped by Nino's Coal-Fired Pizza for a one-bite review.

BRICK, NJ — Dave "El Presidente" Portnoy, the self-proclaimed pizza expert and popular internet personality, stopped in Brick during a recent trip to the Jersey Shore and offered his thoughts on the pizza at Nino's Coal-Fired Pizza.
The review almost didn't go as planned, however.
As Portnoy walked out of the pizzeria at 66 Brick Blvd., he started praising how light the pizza felt in the box.

"Light as a feather," he said, bouncing the box on his hand. "When the box is this light my hopes go through the roof because light matters. Air matters. Light matters."
As he said his catchphrase — "one bite, everyone knows the rules" — and opened the lid, the pizza started sliding off the box and Portnoy nearly dropped the entire pie, but he was able to shift the box in time to save most of it.

Four slices ended up on the ground.
"I haven't had a fall like that. I'd like to blame someone. There's no wind. I'm talking about how light and airy it is, I got carried away," he said.
Portnoy gave it a 7.4, "middle of the road, really good pizza," then cleaned up the pieces he dropped.
"Win some, lose some," he said.
