DWIs, Shoplifting, Offensive Touching: Bridgewater Police Logs
Here's some of what the Bridgewater Police Department has been up to in the past couple weeks.
BRIDGEWATER, NJ — Between May 25 and June 16, Bridgewater police made many arrests, including several for shoplifting at the Promenade Shopping Center Target and others, plus quite nine DWIs.

May 25

Around 11:45 p.m. a 32-year-old Somerville man was stopped on US 22 west and subsequently charged with DWI.

Police arrested a 55-year-old North Plainfield man for DWI after a car crash on Monmouth Avenue at Somerville Manor Park. He was issued summonses for DWI, refusal to submit to a breath test, reckless driving, failure to maintain lane and failure to produce motor vehicle documents.
May 28
Police arrested two women, ages 20 and 21, after allegedly shoplifting $446 worth of merchandise from the Target at the Promenade Shopping Center. One was charged with shoplifting and possession of a controlled substance. The other was charged with shoplifting, possession of a controlled substance and hindering apprehension.
May 29
Around 12:10 p.m., a 45-year-old Bridgewater man was arrested for disorderly conduct due to actions inside the Bridgewater Municipal Court Room.
June 1
Around 8:30 p.m. a 50-year-old Somerville man was arrested for DWI after a car crash on Foothill Road.
June 5
A 33-year-old woman from North Plainfield was arrested on shoplifting charges after allegedly stealing $153.50 worth of merchandise from the Target at the Promenade Shopping Center.
A 21-year-old woman was arrested on shoplifting charges after allegedly stealing $87 worth of merchandise from the Target at the Promenade Shopping Center.
A 19-year-old Bridgewater woman was arrested on shoplifting charges for allegedly stealing $59 worth of merchandise from the Target at the Promenade Shopping Center.
June 6
Around 8:20 a.m. a 66-year-old Colquitt woman was arrested for DWI after a car crash on Allen Road.
Around 11 a.m. an 18-year-old Plainfield man was arrested for harassment at the Somerset Academy on Finderne Avenue.
June 7
Around 5:50 p.m. a 43-year-old Somerset woman was arrested on shoplifting charges after allegedly stealing $141 worth of merchandise from the Target at the Promenade Shopping Center.
Around 5:30 p.m. a 40-year-old Branchburg man was arrested on shoplifting charges after allegedly stealing $249 worth of merchandise from the Home Depot at the Promenade Shopping Center.
Around 2 p.m. a 59-year-old Raritan man was arrested for disorderly conduct at the TD Bank Ball Park.
June 10
Around 1:30 a.m. a 38-year-old Raritan man was pulled over on US 22 west and subsequently arrested for DWI.
June 12
Around 4:45 p.m., a 45-year-old Branchburg man was arrested on shoplifting charges after allegedly stealing $22 worth of merchandise from the Target at the Promenade Shopping Center. He was charged with shoplifting, criminal mischief and possession of burglary tools.
Around 4:45 p.m., a 21-year-old Phillipsburg man was arrested for DWI after a car crash on Hunter Road.
Around 2:10 a.m., a 50-year-old Raritan woman was stopped on US 22 west and was subsequently arrested for DWI.
June 14
Around 3:50 p.m. a 53-year-old South Bound Brook man was arrested for harassment/offensive touching in the Forever 21 in the Bridgewater Commons Mall.
Around 11:40 p.m. a 38-year-old Irvington man was arrested on an outstanding warrant.
June 15
Around 2 a.m., a 20-year-old Basking Ridge man was arrested on DWI charges after a car crash on Brown Road. He was processed and summonsed on charges of DWI, reckless driving, failure to maintain lane, driving under the influence on school property, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
June 16
Around 3:50 p.m., a 29-year-old Piscataway man was arrested for DWI after a car crash on Union Avenue.
