Bridgewater orthodontist Robert L. Sanford, DMD awarded Sanford Orthodontics’ annual $1,000 college scholarship to Bridgewater-Raritan High School senior Bianca Olsen. The awards ceremony was held at the high school on June 4. Every year Dr. Sanford’s scholarship committee chooses an anonymous essay as the winner of the “Power of a Smile” contest. The contest is open every year to current and past patients who attend area high schools. Bianca’s winning essay is posted on Dr. Sanford’s website at www.smileofyourlife.com. Bianca is attending Rutgers University in the fall. Dr. Sanford has offered the scholarship for 7 years. Sanford Orthodontics is located at 1353 Prince Rodgers Avenue.
