Beloved Bridgewater Mom & Nana 'Goes All Out For Everyone'

BRIDGEWATER, NJ— Moms do so much for everyone around them. We try to celebrate them all year long, but Mother's Day is a perfect opportunity to shout it from the rooftops and post it on Patch: Mom rocks!

Here at Patch we've launched an initiative to help recognize the awesome moms and mom figures in communities like yours.

What makes your Mom extra special?

My Mom Judy (aka Nana) goes all out for everyone while putting herself last. She makes everyone feel so comfortable when she meets you. You're instantly part of the family. Every holiday, she decorates like a mad woman, putting together such beautiful displays with such precision that I am in awe. The grandchildren get such a delight and look forward to every holiday more and more. Everyone who meets her falls in love with her. Judy would give you the shirt off her back, if she needed to. I couldn’t ask for a better MOTHER than the one I was given. She turns 80 this year, and I am amazed every day that she still has the gusto to get up, and live each day with the love she shares with everyone she comes into contact with. Love you to the moon and back! Happy Mother’s Day, NANA!

Why do you feel your Mom deserves the spotlight?

You're never giving the chance for redos, so always appreciate everything your mom does for you. She loves you from the very first moment she lays eyes on you. I am so blessed to have 53 years learning from the best.
