Bridgewater-Raritan Girls Soccer Team Advances in Sectionals Action

Shutout Columbia to move to quarterfinals.

The Bridgewater-Raritan High School girls soccer team shutout Columbia 5-0 to advance in to the quarterfinal round in the NJSIAA North 2 Group 4 sectional tournament, Monday.

According to the game summary posted on NJ.com, Lauren Hall scored two goals, with Jessica Schwed, Allison Morgan and Rebecca Dransfield each adding a goal. Hall also notched two assists with Morgan and Dransfield also recording assists.

Goalkeeper Casey Murphy and Danielle Staffin were credited with three saves.

Next up for the fourth-seeded Panthers is Edison, the number five seed in the tournament, on Wednesday.
