BRIDGEWATER, NJ — Without community leaders, Bridgewater wouldn’t hum along nearly as smoothly as it does. We’d miss their contributions in big and small ways.

How do you know this community leader?
During the pandemic, we met (at a distance) while organizing hundreds of people to sew thousands of masks for hospitals, first responders, and people in the community when there were supply chain shut downs.

What does this community leader do?
Kellyanne is one of the co-founders of Raritan Food Pantry and volunteers whenever there is a call for help.
Why do you believe the community leader should be recognized or honored?
During the pandemic, Kellyann found out that there were students in our community that didn’t have access to adequate food so she organized with friends and facilitated the delivery of the school district’s free meals out of her garage. Kellyanne is not just a volunteer. Through her work she has created awareness, advocated for local families, students, and fostered opportunities for others to volunteer in their community.
What's one thing you want everyone to know about the community hero?
Kellyann is so humble and gracious that she does not even see herself as a community leader. She credits her friends, family, and fellow volunteers with all the success of the Raritan Food Pantry which is exactly what a genuine community leader would do.
