Somerset County-Wide Community Food Drive To Support Local Families In Need Launched
The food drive launched by the Somerset County Association of Chiefs of Police will run through Dec. 31.

SOMERSET COUNTY, NJ — The Somerset County Association of Chiefs of Police has announced the launch of a county-wide Non-Perishable Food Drive to support community members facing food insecurity.
The initiative will run through Dec. 31, with donation drop-off locations available at any Somerset County Police Department.
"Thousands of individuals in our community struggle with hunger every day," the Association noted in its announcement. "This food drive is an opportunity for residents to come together and make a meaningful difference during a time of year when the need is especially felt."

Items Accepted:
- Non-perishable food items
- Health and beauty products
- Baby formula, baby wipes, and diapers
All donated products should be sealed and within their expiration date to ensure safety and usability for recipient families.

How to Participate:
Residents can contribute by bringing donation items to any Somerset County Police Department through Dec. 31. Officers and staff will ensure items are properly collected and distributed to local organizations serving families in need.
