BRIDGEWATER, NJ — A downed tree has caused Long Road to close between Bridgewater and Bernards Township on Thursday.

The road is closed between Washington Valley Road in Bridgewater and Bernards Township, said Bridgewater Police in an alert around 1:40 p.m.

Thursday will remain breezy with a west wind around 20 mph and gusts as high as 35 mph, according to the National Weather Service.
