Downed Tree Closes Long Road Between Bridgewater, Basking Ridge
Thursday will remain breezy into the night for the area.
BRIDGEWATER, NJ — A downed tree has caused Long Road to close between Bridgewater and Bernards Township on Thursday.
The road is closed between Washington Valley Road in Bridgewater and Bernards Township, said Bridgewater Police in an alert around 1:40 p.m.
Thursday will remain breezy with a west wind around 20 mph and gusts as high as 35 mph, according to the National Weather Service.

On Thursday night, there will be a west wind 10 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 30 mph.
