Update: As of 1:25 p.m., Washington Valley Rd between Frohlin Drive and Blossom Drive in Bridgewater is now open, according to Somerset County Public Safety.

BRIDGEWATER, NJ — A downed tree has caused a portion of Washington Valley Road in Bridgewater on Thursday.

Washington Valley Road is closed in the area of Frohlin Drive until further notice, said Bridgewater Police in an alert around 11:50 a.m.
