Driver Crashes Into Pole, Topples Wires Onto Route 202 In Bridgewater
The crash caused Route 202 to close for several hours on Saturday.

BRIDGEWATER, NJ — A driver crashed into a pole, causing wires to fall onto Route 202 in Bridgewater on Saturday.
At around 2:37 a.m., the Bridgewater Police Department went to Route 202 South near Towne Center Drive for a report of a single-vehicle motor vehicle crash into a utility pole, said Bridgewater Police Officer Ryan Veneman.
A 2025 Chevrolet Trailblazer driven by a man from Somerville went off the roadway and hit a utility pole, causing damage to the pole and downed wires.

As a result, Route 202 South was closed for several hours for repairs. There were no injuries reported from the crash.
No summonses or charges were filed.
