Exhibitors Wanted for Wellness Expo

The Somerset County Business Partnership (SCBP) will present its "Second Annual Workplace Health & Wellness Exposition 2016"

The Somerset County Business Partnership (SCBP) will present its ”Second Annual Workplace Health & Wellness Exposition 2016” on Thursday, October 13, 2016 from 11:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M. at Anew Wellness, 270 Davidson Avenue, Somerset, New Jersey.

In collaboration with Healthier Somerset and offered during Healthier Somerset Month, the event is being provided as a no cost business resource for local companies and their employees. Expo 2016 will highlight the numerous benefits that can be gained by employers who implement wellness strategies as a component of their business model.

The event is being organized by the SCBP’s Workplace Wellness Committee populated by healthcare professionals and local service providers who recommend wellness strategies as a proven tool to help employees gain greater engagement and effectiveness in the workplace.

The 2016 Expo will provide businesses of all sizes, especially small and medium-sized companies, with key resources to benefit their employees and to assist them with carrying out employer-based wellness approaches, including a “how to” model for executing a wellness fair live-in-action.

Exhibitors are being recruited to provide health screenings, healthy and nutritious food products, food preparation demonstrations, healthy workplace related workshops, and exercise and movement demonstrations.

The Expo will offer interactive exhibits and health screenings for blood pressure, cholesterol, blood sugar, smoking cessation, healthy weight, healthy diet/nutrition, auditory assessment, and stress management conducted by doctors and other health professionals from RWJ Barnabas Health, Carrier Clinic, Natural medicine and Rehabilitation Center, Summit Medical Group, and Anew Wellness.

There is no charge to participate as an exhibitor or attend the Expo. Employers will be encouraged to pre-register their employees to ensure the availability of health screenings and blood donations. All are welcome.
