Family-Owned Hoagie Hut To Close After 56 Years In Bridgewater
Since 1969, Hoagie Hut has been serving up sandwiches to the Bridgewater community.

BRIDGEWATER, NJ — After more than five decades, the family-owned Hoagie Hut in Bridgewater is closing.
Owner Robert Porcaro announced that the store at 357 Union Ave. (corner of Route 28 and Adamsville Rd.) Bridgewater, will be closing its doors on Saturday.
"Since 1969, it has been our honor to serve the Bridgewater community and share with you what we truly believe are the best hoagies around," said Porcaro.

The store was first opened by Dominic Porcaro, his father, and his uncle Joe.
"After a lifetime behind this counter, memorizing all the regulars' orders, making hoagies, and talking(debating) about the Yankees, it's now my turn to retire and enjoy more time with my family and time on the golf course with my buddies," said Porcaro.

Porcaro expressed his deep gratitude to his customers.
"Thank you for making us a part of your breakfasts, lunches, and dinners for more than five decades," said Porcaro. "Serving you has been a privilege and a joy."
