New Restaurant, Bar Opening At Former Michael's Inn In Raritan

RARITAN, NJ — A new restaurant and bar, Usual Suspects, will be opening in Raritan.

It is opening at 46 Thompson St. in Raritan, which is the same location where longtime business Michael's Inn operated for 55 years before closing in 2023.

Usual Suspects is described as "Raritan’s newest spot for casual dining, craft cocktails, and unforgettable nights coming soon to Raritan," according to instagram.com/usualsuspectsnj.

The restaurant will feature custom murals of Hometown Hero John Basilone, a newspaper-plastered wall, ceiling art, and more, all created by Chad Fandel.

An opening date has not yet been announced.
