School Board Candidates To Debate In Bridgewater-Raritan: 2025 Election
There are seven candidates running for the three, three-year seats on the Bridgewater-Raritan Board of Education.
BRIDGEWATER, NJ — Candidates vying for a seat on the Bridgewater-Raritan Regional School Board will debate on Thursday at the High School.
The Board of Education Candidates Night, which is sponsored by the Council of School Associations (CSA), will be aired live at 6 p.m.
There are seven candidates who seek the three open seats on the board of education to represent Bridgewater Township.

The seven candidates who are running to represent Bridgewater are three incumbents Emily Calistri, Lanfang "Lucy" Li, and Steven Singer, along with challengers Deanna Nye, Ketrin Maxwell, James Maloney, and Kim Fajardo.
Two student moderators will present the questions while 10 students will run the AV equipment during the broadcast.

Chris Black and Scott Linzer, teachers at BRHS, "have been most helpful in setting up the evening's broadcast," according to the CSA.
Each candidate will be given two minutes for an opening statement to include their personal and professional background, as well as, what they feel their role will be as a Board of Education member.
Three questions will be asked and all candidates, present, will be given approximately two to three minutes to answer each question.
Candidates Night will be shown live at 6 p.m. on Cablevision Channel 15 and Verizon Channels 26 and 28. The program also intends to air three times a day until election on those channels.
