Unofficial Results: Somerset Co. Board of Commissioners Election 2024

DISTRICT 7, NJ — The 2024 unofficial results are in for the Somerset County Board of Commissioners general election.

Democrat incumbents Shanel Robinson and Sara Sooy are leading over Nick Cuozzo and Rakesh 'Rocky' Ganta.

Here are the real-time unofficial results for the Somerset County Board of County Commissioners, according to Somerset County. Somerset County is reporting 100 percent of districts are reporting in.

Results for 2024 (* denotes incumbent)

• Shanel Robinson - Democrat* - 74,395
• Sara Sooy - Democrat* - 73,540
• Nick Cuozzo - Republican - 71,185
• Rakesh 'Rocky' Ganta - Republican - 69,415

After Election Day

Nov. 12 – Last Day Mail-In Ballots Accepted

Mail-in ballots sent through the United States Post Office that were postmarked by 8 p.m. on Nov. 5 and are received by Nov. 12 will be accepted. Ballots received after this time will not be considered.

Nov. 25 – Final Certification of Votes

Somerset County Clerk Steve Peter must certify the combined results of mail-in ballots, early voting, and in-person election day voting to the New Jersey Secretary of State by this date. Results will be posted here.
