Union Avenue Reopens In Bridgewater Following Disabled Truck

Bridgewater Township Police announced the closure around 6:10 a.m. on Tuesday.

BRIDGEWATER, NJ — Union Avenue in the Finderne Section of Bridgewater Township has reopened following a disabled tractor trailer on Tuesday morning, said police.

The road was closed at Finderne Avenue around 6:10 a.m. and reopened around 7:25 a.m.

"A tractor trailer became disabled while traveling north on Finderne Avenue at the intersection of Route 28, blocking the east and westbound lanes," said Bridgewater Police Lt. Douglas Thorsen to Patch. "The disabled tractor was towed, and the trailer was able to be moved, opening the road."
