Chatham Borough Planning Board Adopts Updated Master Plan

The master plan was approved by a 7-1 vote on Wednesday, according to reports.

CHATHAM, N.J.– The Chatham Borough Planning Board on Wednesday adopted an updated Master Plan by a 7-1 vote, Tap into Chatham reported.

According to Tap into Chatham, the updated plan is 54 pages.

There was two-and-a-half hours of public comments and questions before the vote, Tap into Chatham reported.

Residents were concerned about the possibility of a parking garage and a possible rezoning that would allow three- and four-story buildings, according to Tap into Chatham.

The yes votes: Susan Favate, Matt Wagner, Bill Heap, Mayor Bruce Harris, Janice Piccolo, Vicki Fife and Tom Gilman.
