The Chatham Club Offers Free Exercise For Educators In April
Full-time teachers get full access at the Chatham Club during April, as the club says thank you to educators.
CHATHAM, NJ — A Chatham fitness club is treating teachers during April as a way of saying thank you.
All full-time educators are invited to work out at The Chatham Club for free throughout the month of April. The Club said it's their way of thanking teachers for their hard work and energy throughout the last two years.
"We encourage teachers to unwind with a yoga class, relax with a shower and sauna or ‘sweat with us’ on our fitness floor or in any group exercise class," The Chatham Club said in a news statement.

Educators may come to the Club as many times as they would like from April 1-30. The gym is open from 5 a.m. to 8 p.m. on weekdays from 6:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekends.
On the first visit, teachers will be asked to show a current school ID and to fill out a guest form. After that initial visit, they will be able to simply mention their name at the desk and enjoy full access to the facilities, the Club said.

General Manager Darren Worts said, "Teachers have been incredibly flexible throughout the pandemic. They have pivoted again and again to ensure that all students continue to receive a great education. As the husband of a teacher myself, I've seen first-hand the stress these past few years has caused for educators. Our team at The Chatham Club understands how exercise and movement positively affects our bodies and minds and we would like to offer that to educators who need an outlet."
