Chatham Man Shot 14 Car Windshields With Pellet Gun At Tire Shop: Cops
Man arrested Wednesday for allegedly committing crime over the course of a month, police report.

MADISON, N.J. – Madison Police have arrested a Chatham Borough man after a month-long investigation where the suspect allegedly caused damage to more than a dozen vehicles at an auto repair shop.
Madison Police received several reports about parked vehicles at STS Tire Center on Main Street being damaged during overnight hours, Acting Lt. John Miscia said.
Police investigated the situation and found damage that looked to be done from a pellet gun and developed a suspect in Artan Bicaku, 48, of Chatham, Miscia said.

Bicaku, who is employed nearby, was seen on the morning of April 6 committing the alleged crime, Miscia said, and arrested on scene.
Bicaku was in possession of a black pellet gun that resembled a semi-automatic handgun, Miscia said. He was charged with possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose; unlawful possession of a weapon; and criminal mischief.

The total amount of damage allegedly committed is estimated around $5,000, Miscia said, and includes 14 customer cars and three acts of criminal mischief on the STS Tire building.
