Drug Take Back Program Coming to Chatham Borough

Chatham Borough Police are hosting a drug take back program that will give residents the opportunity properly dispose of their unwanted, unused, and expired prescription drugs.

On Saturday, Sept. 26, the police department will host the event at CVS Pharmacy at 471 Main Street in cooperation with the New Jersey Division of Drug Enforcement Administration’s “Operation Take Back” program.

Police say medications may remain in their original container or may be disposed directly into the drug disposal box. No syringes or other sharp instruments will be accepted. All drop-offs will be anonymous.
