End-Of-Summer Pool Rates Now Available In Chatham

CHATHAM, NJ — Despite the fact that summer is coming to an end, there are still plenty of opportunities for hot, sunny days ahead to spend by the pool.

To commemorate the end of the summer, the Borough of Chatham has announced an "End of Season Discount," which is open to all poolgoers, including non-residents.

Chatham Borough’s Memorial Park Pool, which is located at 22 North Passaic Avenue, houses a large pool, a graduated entry wading pool with various water features and a covered picnic area.

In addition to the two pools, there is a playground, basketball court, playing field, and a library for attendees to visit after their time in the sun.

The current in-season price of a pool complex membership is divided into the following categories:

Chatham Borough and Chatham Township:

• Individual: $184

• Senior age 62+: $81

• Family Membership: $427

• Au Pair of a Chatham Resident: $130

With the low end-of-season discounted rate, those prices drop to:

• Individual: $122

• Senior age 62+: $52

• Family Membership: $240

Memorial Park Pool is open until Labor Day, which falls on Sept. 4. Go to register.capturepoint.com or your existing Community Pass Account to sign up for the discounted membership.

According to borough officials, children must be completely toilet trained before entering the large pool.

Children who are unable to stand in the big pool or swim independently must be accompanied and completely supervised by a parent, as any type of flotation device is not permitted in the large pool.

To help senior residents beat the summer heat, the pool will be open free of charge to Chatham residents aged 62 and up on days when the temperature is 90 degrees or higher.
