Morris Freeholders Meeting At Great Swamp In Chatham

The Morris County Board of Freeholders are encouraging residents to attend the Oct. 26 meeting.

CHATHAM, N.J.– The Morris County Board of Freeholders are holding their final 2016 "road meeting" on Oct. 26 at the Park Commission's Great Swamp Outdoor Education Center in Chatham.

The elected officials are encouraging residents to attend, ask questions and watch county government in action.

“Freeholder meetings held in county parks have given the freeholders and county residents a chance to get a look at some of the great facilities that our park system offers, said Freeholder Director Kathy DeFillippo. “Also, these road meetings give local residents and officials a chance to bring regional issues of concern about their section of the county to the freeholders.’’

The meeting is slated for 7 p.m.
