Wellness has never been more essential to our community than it is now. As a leader in healthy living, the Madison Area YMCA diligently monitors developments surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic and communicates with and provides resources to our community. Following recommendations from the Madison Department of Health and the CDC, and following the Governor’s Executive Orders, we provide a safe and healthy experience for all participants, and strongly recommend that both vaccinated and unvaccinated individuals wear face masks indoors at the Y. When face coverings are not worn, efforts should be made to maintain at least 6 feet from others. Individuals ages 2+ that are not fully vaccinated MUST wear a mask when entering and throughout this facility. All Y staff are required to wear a mask while indoors. We are pleased to share that 100% of staff are compliant with our COVID-19 mandate which requires either vaccination or an exemption with a testing component. We continue to do everything we can to ensure the health and safety for all. For more information about our current Mask Guidelines, please visit ww.madisonareaymca.org/maskpolicy.
