Time To Clean Up Chatham

11th Annual Chatham Spring Clean Up is coming in April.

CHATHAM, NJ - It is time to clean up Chatham as 11th Annual Chatham Spring Clean Up is set from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 29.

Signing up a week in advance will allow organizers to provide the exact location for your worksite via email notification. Volunteers can register online.

Volunteers can register as groups or families and individuals. Help beautify Borough owned property including landscape beds and green spaces including the front of Borough Hall, RR Plaza South, Liberty Park at the Lafayette Avenue/Main Street corner, and the Middle School Walking Path off Main Street.

Come prepared to weed, mulch, pick up trash, and spread mulch at these sites. Organizers are asking participants to dress for weather and soggy Spring ground.

Extra wheelbarrows, shovels, rakes and 5-gallon buckets for transporting mulch brought will assist in moving these workload projects efficiently, those who bring some are being asked to label all privately owned tools.

Project reassessment for completion of all site locations will occur at noon, where pizza will be served on the lawn of Borough Hall to volunteer workers.
