Zika Presentation To Be Held During Chatham Twp. Meeting Thursday
Info session open to all residents.

CHATHAM TWP., N.J. – It’s been all over the news in recent months, and with the warmer weather approaching, bugs and the fear of disease is at the forefront of many minds.
The Chatham Township Committee has invited Kris McMorland, Direcitor of Morris County’s Division of Mosquito Control, to give a presentation on mosquito control and disease to Chatham Township residents.
“As summer approaches and everyone is spending more time outdoors, it’s also prime mosquito season,” said Chatham Township Mayor Curt Ritter. “In an effort to help educate residents about mosquito control and help them understand mosquito-related diseases, such as the Zika virus and West Nile, I encourage residents to join us this Thursday for this important presentation. They’ll learn about mosquito prevention and the Zika virus and what they can do to help it from spreading.”
