4 Hospitalized After Multi-Vehicle Crash In Cherry Hill Wednesday: PD

A multi-vehicle accident in Cherry Hill on Wednesday sent several people to the hospital with minor injuries, officials said.

CHERRY HILL, NJ — A multi-vehicle accident sent four people to local hospitals on Wednesday, Cherry Hill fire officials said.

The crash, which occurred near Greentree Rd and Route 70, involved at least one tractor-trailer and three cars, according to photos posted by the Cherry Hill Fire Department.

The fire department initially said seven people were transported to the hospital; Cherry Hill Chief of Police Rob Kempf said on Thursday afternoon that the injuries were minor, and that four people went to the hospital as a precaution.

Kempf said the at-fault driver will be issued a summons on several traffic-related charges.

"The investigation preliminarily reveals the cause of the crash to be driver inattention and fatigue," he said.
