Camden Man Charged With Murder In November Shooting: Prosecutor
A Camden City man was arrested and charged in connection with the fatal shooting of a 30-year-old New Jersey man, authorities said.
CAMDEN, NJ - A Camden City man was arrested and charged in connection with the fatal shooting of a 30-year-old New Jersey man, authorities said.
Abdur Catoe, 36, was arrested on Tuesday by the U.S. Marshals Service New York/New Jersey Regional Fugitive Task Force and charged with murder, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose and related offenses, Camden County Prosecutor Grace C. MacAulay said in a statement.
Catoe is currently lodged in the Camden County Correctional Facility.

The charges stem from a shooting on the morning of Nov. 7 that resulted in the death of Hodge, 30, of Camden City, McAulay said.
At around 7:46 a.m., Camden County police officers found Hodge on the 1200 block of Jackson Street after receiving a 911 call reporting that a man had been shot.

Hodge was transported to Cooper University Hospital where he died from his injuries on Nov. 9.
