CHERRY HILL, NJ - A Code Blue Weather Emergency is in effect for Cherry Hill through Thursday night, officials said.
According to the National Weather Service, temperatures are anticipated to drop into the high 20’s Thursday night. The code blue will be in effect from Thursday at 7 p.m. through Friday at 7 a.m., Cherry Hill police confirmed.
“Please check on relatives and neighbors who are elderly, disabled or who live alone, to ensure their safety,” police said. “Remember to bring your pets inside.”

In Camden County, a code blue declaration is issued when dangerously cold weather threatens individuals or families without shelter. The county provides short-term sheltering in clean, safe locations during the declaration.
