NJ Man Charged In Death Of His 75-Year-Old Father: Prosecutor
The charges come after police responded to a dispute between the father and son shortly after 3 a.m. on Friday, officials said.
CAMDEN, NJ - A South Jersey man was charged in the death of his 75-year-old father after an early morning altercation Friday, authorities said.
Joseph Mastranduono Jr., 44, of Winslow Township, was charged with first degree aggravated manslaughter in connection with his father’s death following an investigation conducted by detectives of the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office Homicide Unit and Winslow Township Police Department detectives, Camden County Prosecutor Grace C. MacAulay and Winslow Township Police Chief Donald Lemons said in a joint statement.
The charges stem from a police response to a dispute between the father and son at a home on Kresson Court shortly after 3 a.m. on Friday, officials said.

At the scene, officers found an unresponsive Joseph Mastranduono Sr. Nearly an hour later, he was pronounced dead at Jefferson Washington Township Hospital, police said.
Joseph Mastranduono Jr. is currently hospitalized, and he will be transported to Camden County Correctional Facility when he is released from the hospital.
