100-Year Flood: How Much Rain Did Burlington County Get?

BURLINGTON COUNTY, NJ — The National Weather Service called Monday’s storm that struck Burlington County a 100-year flood, but while some areas saw a significant amount of rain, others saw virtually none.

While parts of Florence saw more than 7 inches of rain, much of the county saw less than one inch. There were 12 water rescues and more than 400 emergency calls during the storm, but no serious injuries or lingering power outages, according to officials.
