4 To Pursue 3 Open Seats On Cinnaminson School Board

CINNAMINSON, NJ — Four candidates will pursue three open seats on the Cinnaminson Public School District Board of Education in November.

Board of Education President Laura Fitzwater, Board of Education Vice President Dolores Woodington and Board Member James McGuckin all filed petitions to run for re-election by Monday’s 4 p.m. deadline, according to the Burlington County Clerk’s Office.

Donna Iacone also filed a petition to run in this year’s election, under the slogan, “Striving for Academic Success.”

Locally, it is the only contested election on the ballot in Cinnaminson this year, although there will be contested races in the statehouse, as well.

Cinnaminson Mayor Albert Segrest and Committeeman Paul Conda are running unopposed for a pair of open seats on Cinnaminson Township Committee. Read more here: Clear Path To Re-Election For Segrest, Conda In Cinnaminson.

In District 7, State Senator Troy Singleton, a Democrat, will be challenged for his seat by Republican Michelle Arnold. Assembly Members Herb Conaway and Carol Murphy, both Democrats, will be challenged by Republicans Douglas Dillon and Joseph Jesuele.

Election Day is Nov. 2.
